I bought a killer new guitar found on the internet
I think it sounds amazing but I haven’t got it yet
I got it off of Hamerhead who bought it off of Poe
Who thinks it was from ebay but he doesn’t really know
It’s showing up on Thursday and it’s gonna be a star
I know it is by far my second best guitar

I tried some overwound Fralins that made it sound too bright
And dropped in a new floating bridge but it just wasn’t right
‘til I swapped the saddle pieces made of real synthetic bone
And now I’ve got that classic woman tone

Now I’m really digging on my custom hand made axe
In mint like new condition if you overlook the cracks
I think I’ve nearly got it right and though it looks bizarre
I know it is by far my second best guitar

What a drag when your gear just cannot muster up the tone
That’s bad down to the bone
That’s the one I want to own!

It’s gotta be the frets
‘cause I haven’t changed them yet

Now I have perfected it and righted all the wrongs
I thought I might sit down a bit and learn to play some songs
But first I’ll swap the tuners out and loosen up the bar
I know it is by far my second best guitar
