Julianne

She didn’t believe in me and she don’t believe in God
She don’t believe in the President either and I somehow found that odd
Said don’t you know that even lies are sometimes true
So I didn’t really know how to take it when she told me I’ll never lie with you

She seemed like a small town girl who had grown up fast on the coast
Couldn’t decide if her dress or her pride made me notice her the most
But when she smiled she’d take the air out of the room
And though I tried to play it cool I was grinning like a fool as my heart went boom boom boom

Julianne I hardly know you but you’re different from the rest
You can make me go all stupid even when you’re not undressed
Yeah my life’s a blur, I know it’s her Julianne
Oh my search is done, I’ve found the one Julianne
